i5-760 overclocking

I have used the i5-760 for around 5-6 months now but can I still overclock? or is overclocking for new cpus?

There is not an expiry date on overclocking! 🙂

If you post details of your hardware, in particular motherboard/BIOS and cooling, you might get some advice on overclocking settings for a nice boost in speed. Like many ppl here with i5-750 & 760, I run mine at 4GHz.

(BTW, although it is not a Nehalem core, the same principles apply - so see the sticky thread for Nehalem i7 overclocking.)
