Hi, I recently bought a new computer as those who have helped me before already know, it seems I have run into another problem in the motherboard and the system tab it shows my cpu running at 2.00Ghz, shouldn't it be running at 2.6 ghz?

the exact line goes like this:

Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU 750 @2.67Ghz 2.00Ghz

Shouldn't both numbers be the same, also the motherboard reads cpu freq at 2.00Ghz.

I don't think any of the other parts are effecting so I will not post links to them unless needed.

Thank you again for your help.

Nevermind, even though I never actually made any changes to the bios for some reason resetting them to the optimized defaults fixed the problem, it now shows 2.80Ghz with turbo boost on.

Thanks again for all the help on my other issues.
