i5 6500 or i5-6600

Hi,

I'm planning for new CPU build for Gaming and multimedia. I'm not interested in overclocking.I have short listed 2 processors i5 6500 and i5-6600(non K version).

I decided to go for Asus H170 Pro gaming motherboard.

In India,6600 is 2k more than 6500.Is 6600 really worth in terms of performance and pricing.

is my processor-mobo combination is right?

please provide some suggestions.

Its a question you can only answer yourself.

But 3.2->3.3Ghz base clock. 3.6->3.9Ghz turbo clock is minor if you have to pay 20% more or how much it is. As long as you avoid the i5 6400 that got very low clocks compared.
