Will my i5 4440 bottleneck the new r9 300's that are supposed to come out soon?

Im plannig on upgrading soon so need to know if i need a different cpu

Why are you planning to upgrade before the product is out? Not to mention you dont know the performance of an unspecified unreleased card.
 
1. We don't know what games you play.
2. We don't know what resolution you game at.
3. We don't know if you like to use high amounts of MSAA/SMAA and mods.
4. We don't know what R9 300 card you plan to buy ($200, $400, $600, R9 395X2?)

What exactly did you have in mind when you said upgrading from an i5 4440?

Honestly, just keep what you have. Unless you can resell it for a good price and get a cheap 4790K (say MicroCenter, etc.), that CPU is good enough for the next 2-3 years. Your next upgrade should be 14nm Skylake/Cannonlake or 10nm Icelake.
