It wouldn't be good to me because I wouldn't want that hard drive for 95 bucks. Most of "$54 discount" would be wiped out because I'd have a 1TB hard drive for almost 100 dollars, and I'd have to buy more HD space.
That's the reason most of the Newegg bundles don't work for me - they end up including at least one major part that is completely different than what I would buy.
I believe this was a shell shocker yesterday. It is a good deal but they have lowered the component prices too (temporarily) so I bit on the CPU for $210 (normally $230 but I bet they are trying to get rid of them before Haswell which should be about the same price).
I know Newegg was having some real nice 3570k + mobo combos for ~$55 to ~$60 off. I managed to snag a 3570k + MSI GD65 Gaming for around 350 to update my aging AMD and motherboard. An extra $200 for ram, a HD, and a PSU sounds nice.
And I just bought this CPU for $209 a few days ago. Now they have a coupon for $194. They are really trying to unload these things. But as early benchmarks show, the Haswell versions we are expecting in a few weeks are no faster, only in graphics.
