I plan on building a system - I used to have a PC, switched to imac in 2007 and have been using virtualization to run Windows 7 and hate it, too slow, I just need a PC for some very low end trading platform that I use for Windows.
I have not played many games on the mac but I would like to play starcraft II and perhaps skyrim.
I have priced many variations and looking to cut costs - I am wondering if I can get by with an I3 system. I do not plan to overclock so I am not sure if I get an I5 if I need the 3570.
My gaming would be very minimal, mostly office/surf and occasional Photoshop or Illustrator user and the above-mentioned games. Will I notice a significant performance difference if I go I3 vs. I5, or even Celeron 2021 (not sure if that is correct model but the 3.0ghz version).
