can i play games maxed out at 1366x768 with fx 6100+gtx 550ti..
coz i cant jst wait any longer to collect more money to buy an i5

Have a look at FX4100 paired with GTS450, Just OC the FX6100 to 4GHz and you will be GPU limited in the majority of modern games with the GTX550Ti even at 1366x768.

The 6100 is the older bulldozer CPU. The 6300 is the newwer piledriver version. I would skip the 6100 and either get the 6300 or the 3450 you asked about.

And why 1366x768?

a +5 to u...if dats possible...

i hav seen many places that at my res even i5 3450 gave as much fps in battlefield 3 as in fx 4100..dat clearly means gpu limited performance..
but still.do u think with fx4100(leave fx 6100) and gtx 550 ti i can play all games maxed out at my reso.??

the thing is my monitor native res is 1366x768..
and i anyway plan to buy a gaming notebook next year...so i wont upgrade my monitor for long
