Hi all, have just ordered a Hyper 212+ for the above CPU, and would like to do some clocking....42x is easy on the board but I havent changed any of the auto settings for voltage etc....CPU, VTT, CPU offset, PCH!? Integrated clock chip conf, turbo power limit?
Can anyone give me a list of what all these setting are and approx what manual settings I should be looking for?

thanks

You need to set voltage because AUTO will be using too much (or at least more than you need). I use OFFSET MINUS 0.05 at 42x on my 2600K. Results in voltage around 1.22 under load which is hardly any higher than stock speeds on Auto (1.19). You need to increase the Short and Long Duration Power Limits (mine was 110 and 95 default - I raised to 130 and 120 although others just open it up to 255 and 255). I set memory to 1600 instead of 1333 (since I bought 1600 memory). Otherwise I leave everything on Auto, Enabled, etc ---- whatever is the default. DON'T listen to some on these boards that tell you you need to turn off the C1E states that allow the CPU to throttle back at idle.......you can still OC just fine with all that stuff enabled.
