Are you sure that other stick is bad? Patriot rams sometimes needs just bios adjustment to get it all stable.

Congrats finally getting your BF3 rig put together must be relieved

Put the question stick in all 4 slots with no boot.

The working stick booted in each slot.

Think the verdict is in on this one...

Might as well see if they'll accept a single stick RMA, although I'm not sure what impact single versus dual has for DDR3 and gaming.

When I used to work at fry's patriot ram had the most returns/open box lol

All the way 1090T and a 570 will pownz BF3 with 1080p 8xAA 16xAF high detail, game set to ultra settings.

Went with a 1100t and the gtx570.

The intel supply was all gone at frys right down to the celerons the 1090t was sold out 3 1100ts got put on hold for customers and i got lucky with the last 1100t on the shelf being a opened box returned item.

Very happy camper with the build :biggrin:
