i3 question

can you overclock a i3 2nd gen. 2100 3.1ghz cpu 1155 socket?

Only with P67, Z68, Z77 chipset and only by raising the bclk. That means a puny +3 to 5MHz tops over the 100MHz default.

31 * 103MHz = 3193MHz

Not even worth the trouble to restart and enter the BIOS to change the bclk
