i3 3220 - 120 usd
i5 3350p - 175 usd
i5 3470 -195 usd
My graphic card is hd 5670 512mb gddr5, but i plan to upgrade to hd 7770. Which of these cpus should i take? is it worth to have i5 even if it costs more? (i play games on low 1280 x 720 resolution)

The i5-3350p and the i3 are both 4 thread processors both running at basically 3.3GHz. There is very little in the i5 to justify a $55 price premium. $55 could mean the difference between a 7770 and a 7850. And THAT would be noticeable.

Wha?

The i5 is a four core, four thread processor. The i3 is a two core, four thread processor. Just because the i3 can handle the same number of threads doesn't mean the i5 doesn't have a lot more compute resources.

3220 vs. 3470

The 3350 will be a touch slower than the 3470, but it's definitely worth the money over the 3220 if you want to be happier with the computer longer. (I've seen a few games now requiring dual cores and recommending quads.)

Of the three, the 3350P is probably the best price/performance deal, especially since you're already committed to getting a separate GPU.

So, priscoo, I take it you don't have a Microcenter nearby?

This is incorrect, i5-3350P is quad-core, while i3-3220 is dual-core and in fact all i3s since day 1 were dual-cores with HT enabled. The difference between 3350P and 3470 is 100 MHz higher base clock and 300MHz higher turbo while 3350P lacks IGP.
But I would buy an i3 in your case if you play casually on low resolutions.
Unless you have something else to feed a quad-core CPU with, get the i5.

If you live in europe. Remember to use geishalz.

Nothing special essentially about MC. Its just about who and where to take the profit.

Microcenter sells cheap especially on discount weeks and selected mobo+processor combos, but it only applies for in store purchases, not online. So they don't need to go through hassles of shipping and money transfers and so on. The limit is one CPU or one CPU+MB combo per one household. And you need to live near it, although it is US retailer, it is only in some states so it is out of reach for other american costumers as well. Not to mention it is not in EU at all.

I feel like upgrading my g850 since I want better multitasking and better performance in some multiplayer games. As I've got a m-itx case tdp is a concern, and what I was wondering was about the i5-3350p and i5-3470. They're close to the same price here. The 3350p has got the graphics disabled, but if I take an i5-3470 and use a discrete gpu will the tdp be similar, or will the gpu part of the 3470 still take away a bit of power? As is the 3350p is rated at 69w and the 3470 at 77w.

What I said was NOT incorrect. I said they are both 4 thread processors and that is what they are. Learn to read before you attempt to incorrectly correct someone.

Yeap, get the 3220 + 7850
