2. high ISO shouldnt kill the focus.

It's not a focus problem, it's more hand movement problem. So there's probably something wrong with the camera itself. I've never seen a fuji camera crank ugly pictures like that. 5 in the afternoon? makes me wonder what the lighting condition was like. Do you have y our exif data on that image?

I lost my LX7 but I was really disappointed by the distortion and poor image quality. Don't try to photograph people with it. They'll look like they have stubby legs.

I've been happy with my LX7 -- I'm not expecting DSLR + Prime lens quality photos ... but it frequently gives me results that at screen resolution comes close-ish.
