1. What YOUR PC will be used for:
The System will be a home office PC.

2. What is YOUR budget:
My budget is between $450 and $550.

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from:
USA - NewEgg, Superbiiz, Amazon, or wherever I can get the best deal including shipping.

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US:
USA Only

5. IF YOU have a brand preference.
AMD-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Samsung-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy.

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Reusing Samsung 1080p Monitor, Microsoft Gaming Keyboard, Samsung 500Gb SSD, WD 7200 RPM 4TB HD, Logitec Mouse, Cooler Master Silent Pro M700 ATX12 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power supply,
Windows 7 Pro, Microsoft Office Pro 2013

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
I plan to run it at default speeds.

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
Existing 1080p for now, but would eventually (within a year) upgrade to a 4K display.

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Within a month.

10. Justification:
I want this to be a small form factor PC with an equally small computer case. I'm thinking on the lines of a mini-ITX based system. I also want the motherboard to have on-board graphic and AMD Rizen based.

11. Possible components list in which I'd like feedback on:

ASRock Mini-ITX Motherboard - AB350 GAMING-ITX/AC

G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x 8 GB) (Dual Channel Kit) 3000MHz DDR4 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM Desktop Memory (F4-3000C15D-16GVR)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013J7L6BM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A2D1YQFFOF9GHP&psc=1

Cooler Master Elite 130 - Mini-ITX Computer Case

If my ATX power supply will fit in the new case, I'll reuse it. Unless of course you guys su a better option

Nah.

Just wait until Gigabyte releases its USFF Brix based on these Totally-not-calling-them-APUs.

The build you're describing will require a dGPU. Which actually rules out most of the smaller ITX cases. (Many of which use external PSUs.) The CM130 will fit an ATX PSU, but it's not exactly "small" for an ITX cube.

My rule is, whenever possible, avoid building systems for other people. It makes you responsible. That goes double for your spouse, since that makes it your fault.

Non-gamers don't need build-to-order kit, just the most reliable, littlest box they can get for the money.

I've always built my wife's PCs, so there is no real problem there. Besides, I'm a DYI kind of guy.

Fair. As long as you know what you're getting into. If you want a Ryzen ITX system, I would still wait for the APUs.

If you wife does lot's of multitasking, you may want to consider the 2400G as it has more then threads then the 2200G.

Yeah, the Ryzen 3 1200 CPU requires a dGPU for video output. Wait for the Ryzen 2400G, it's the new hotness Ryzen-based APU, should be more than sufficient. I may build a few of those myself, or if a vendor releases a Brix or other mini-PC based on the Ryzen APUs, I may get those. Though, my Deskmini units with G4560 / G4600 CPUs are doing just fine.
