I worked with a pedophile ... that was featured on Dateline: To Catch a Predator.

my mom works at the prison and they arent allowed to discuss the child molesters cases around inmates, in fact if they find out that a guard or someone leaked it to the inmates they get reprimanded for it. i guess the rumors are true about getting their asses kicked

Actually, most (all?) are separated from the general population.

In certain cases, this is true. Those that are deemed at a greater risk of being attacked (example: it's leaked what they're in for) are sometimes moved into a protective environment with other people that are deemed "at risk." This also includes people such as gang informants and other criminals that are in prison for a various number of crimes. If these people find out, they can and will try to harm these prisoners during meals and other times they're in contact with people. On top of that, they're not normally in single rooms, so they also face the issue of being injured/raped/killed while they sleep.

I sold a house of mine in MD a while back. I was getting 80% profit on the place in a year and I was out of the area. I did not meet the people until the walk through the day of the closing. The man struck me as odd. The adopted son was a little weird also.

Yep, 3 months later I the checked sex offender registry and there he was. I really doubt that was his son. Pedo

This particular guy always struck me as odd. He was very obese, had a high pitched voice, and was openly, and flamboyantly homosexual. He was remarkably lazy, and had aced sleeping-with-hands-on-mouse-and-keyboard techniques.

Fast forward a bit. This guy, let's call him ... Ed Hollingsworth ... bragged about a trip to Australia that he (30+) and a 16 year old boy, that he claimed was his nephew, went on.

I worked in the same office for a couple of years, and eventually, he was fired for work ethic reasons.

About a month or two ago, I was watching Dateline: To Catch a Predator, and BAM. The guy, Ed, was one of the featured scums. He is now in prison, probably get the ****** kicked out of him daily. I have heard stories that inmates do not treat child molesters very well at all, and that the guards do not take any special care to see that they are not torn apart.

That's putting it very very mildly.

Such words, generalized even to the extent that you have, always fvk with my head.

I guess I still have a certain level of innocence and don't want to give it up🙁

Sometimes I wish the worst offenders would just get the chair and rid this world, and sometimes I feel that such things are wrong as well. Sometimes I feel that what they get in jail is what they deserve, and sometimes a quick death seems more jsut.

It's all just so fvked up🙁 What they do and what happens to them as well.

I just don't understand the perversion that these people have.

And the good people (the majority,I still believe) never will.

And don't dwell on it too long, I've known a few really good people that became too focused on the atrosities of life and became very jaded and bitter. It happens most often to those whose proffesions put them in constant contact, such as health care workers, police, lawyers

A coworker of mine just bought a house from a child molester. I think the guy is older and was just arrested.

Hate to think about what's been done in those bedrooms. :disgust:

I guess one of the bathrooms was a little weird..something about the paint job and border but I dont remember exactly what. They called it the pedophile room.

She said it was a pain to get the house off the sex offender list.
