It's a quiet morning here at my AM p/t job, so I can hang out here.
Yesterday, I worked 8-12 at this job ($8/hr), went home and wrote ad copy for cars (made $40 for the week - probably $15 of that for the day), picked up a neighbor kid and babysat ($5/hr, it was a favor) WHILE I threw the kid in the car with the game boy and did a delivery run for a courier service ($40). Then, traffic being horrible, I barely made it to drop the kid off and got to the community-group musical theater where I'm replacement accompanist ($40 for 7:30 - 10ish).
There's gotta be a better way.
The worst part is, for all these jobs, there's someone worse off than me trying to survive on less. Whenever I go for a job interview, or go to a temp agency or job there are people with amazingly horrible stories.
I'm lucky? Gah. I'm tired.
Oh, just remembered that when I got home last nite I put a few more things up on ebay. If I include that, it makes it 6 PT jobs in one day
