I work w/ a bunch of idiots, is this how life is supposed to be?

check this out, i've come to a conclusion, peopel are stupid, i mean look at us ATOT'ers we are here all day bored off our arses cuz people think computers are tough to use, talk about job security, like the other day i had to reformat 4 computers, yank yank, i got done in about an hour, (2 stations going) of course i just sat here all day acting like i was doing something, no one questions me because they are all morons. of course there is the rare exception, but i'm the youngest person here and i feel like i'm working w/ a bunch of idiots.

Is this how my life at work should be!? oh yeah, i'm 20 and will be a junior in the college of IS&T, MIS major

Wake up my friend! IT is like combat (or so I've heard) hours of boredom interspersed with minutes of extreme action. It's what you do in those minutes that allows you to enjoy the other 7.5 hours of your "work day."

Yeah, and quit giving away our secrets! The less the "outside" knows about IT the better!!!

I work with idiots too. I've actually gone to work some days and not done a single work-related thing for 8 fricken hours. hmm, hope they don't read this :Q
funny thing is, they are impressed by my work and always thank me, etc. pretty funny stuff. i think it's cause i work so damn fast & they expect someone to do this amount of work in 8 hours but i get it done in 2 hours.
btw, i'm 18 and a web designer.

i work with idiots too. one guy does nothing all day except for a small amount of work. he thinks his boss doesn't know much about computers, so he's safe with his do-nothing-all-day job, but his a$$ is about to be fired. <said in the Jay Leno genius voice> &quot;IDIOTS!!!&quot;

It's true, with my old job I was either working crazy overtime to get stuff done, or I would leave work extremely early cause there is nothing to do.
