"when I looked up a book it said reshelving, what does that mean?"

My sarcasm cannot top that question so I will quit here.

did you ask her what she was doing in a library and not in the kitchen making pies?

GEEZ, I hope more than 1 person understood what it meant.

If you looked at your dishwasher and it said "Status: Washing" would you wonder if they were ready or not?

Reshelving is not a word in common use. You may understand it, but others might guess at its meaning. This is the first time I've come across the word, and I understood what you mean by it; but to be sure, I would probably go ask you if it means what I think it means by saying something stupid like, "when I looked up a book it said reshelving, what does that mean?"

Edit: In fact, the word is not even found on Dictionary.com and is probably just nomenclature specific to librarians, although the meaning of it, in context, is somewhat self-explanatory.

ohhhh look at my post count! I'm #1 across the board baby yah!~

This is like that one time when Barry Bonds took three steps out of the pocket and then threw a hail marry down the sideline where C. Barkeley was there to intercept it and run it all the way back but before he scored he was called for icing and that tied the score love-all....
