I wore an inappropriate t-shirt to work today BY accident.

I came in to work really early today because I am leaving town after work. I accidentally wore one of my t-shirts that I would never wear to work.
This one says "Hard work has never hurt anyone, but I am not willing to risk it", I don't think it is all that bad. Obviously, its a joke, but I don't want people to read it for whatever reasoning going on in my head right now.

So, I am wearing my jacket all day at work today, and it is hot in here.

Would you wear this shirt to work ?

HR guidelines prohibit us from wearing anything with lettering on it.

Needs to have collars as well

sucks

I wouldn't wear a tshirt with a dumb saying like that anywhere.

I thought it was funny when I bought it obviously. No need to diss my shirt now.

I used to wear a t-shirt to work that had Wimpy (of Popeye fame) on it, and underneath him it said "Slacker"
People found it amusing.

Here's the only tshirt I own with a "clever" saying on it:

That is a cool T-shirt. I would like to wear it, but I don't think I am cool like you to pull it off 🙂

it could be worse. I used to work for a well known isp and I would always wear by "pirates of the internet" and "i steal music off the internet" hoodies. My bosses always got a laugh out of them.

One of my coworkers wore a shirt that said "I may have a short stack, but I'm all in"

He didn't get it.

Shirts with sayings like that rank up there with bumper stickers. To those who do not know you well, such statements could easily define you in their minds. Not good. Especially at work where this sort of thing is just begging for trouble.
