I have an abit Bx6 rev 2 MB. I am running a PIII 450, with Mushkin
pc 100 running 124 bus. My question is can I run a coppermine with
a slotket and if so can I put a 800EB/ 133 mhz or will I have to
use a a plain 800/100 chip? I am eventually going to a CUSL2. Any
suggestions will be helpful

I think with the 800/133 you might be pushing the envelope a bit too far, especially as far as your RAM goes or other components. It would be safer to try the 800/100, which at 124 MHz FSB would be @ 992 MHz. That is a reasonable expectation, if you are lucky. It is probably better for the long run to get an FC-PGA. yup, agree with ulysses, takae the 800E one, i got one and run at 1000 mhz stable

Yeah, if you get a 800EB then you'll be overclocking your mobo quite a bit already and hence you will be left with little overhead for further overclocking. I would recomend buying the 800E, at 100Mhz FSB. It might be more worth your while to get a slower chip and clock it up. If you can get your board the run at 133Mhz then a 700 could run at 933Mhz.
