? Men?s touring bike by Schwinn features aluminum road frame and fork
? Shimano 14-speed drive train with Shimano shifters
? Dual-pivot caliper brakes; alloy road crank
? Aero 36-spoke alloy wheels with radial-laced front; toe clips and straps

This is friggin' awesome, I bet!

Every bike doesn't have to be some $1K+ grade bike....just like every camera doesn't have to be a $1K+ DSLR. People have different needs. I'm sure a $170 bike at Target is more than a lot of people need to buzz around town. Don't be so elitest.

Seriously, Schwinns are cheap China made brand bikes now. They are bulky, shoddily made, and have cheap components that are hard to fine tune. For $170, I would just craiglist an old bike and pay a little more.

**EDIT**
BTW, I just sold my old bike for $250 to a friend. The wheels alone were about $200. Meh he got a good deal, but whatever, I have my TT bike to ride anyways. The other bike though was super comfy. The geometry was great (classic frame). I feel kind of sad parting with it, but it had to go sometime.

From the review

"It runs real smooth and goes very fast"

Well that's good. I wouldn't want to get one of those slow bikes.

From the additional info

"Item can not be gift wrapped"

What's up with that? :D

Shipping weight 42 lbs. Figure box and materials are about 5, so a bit on the heavy side. There are good deals on Craigslist.
