I was at a customer site this week and I think I came up the dirtiest keyboard in existance. Wish I had taken a picture of this thing. The previous tech was supposed to clean the system every time he was there but he never did. Anyways do you think my report entry will get the point across?
The system hasn't been cleaned in years. The keyboard was so dirty I believe it was starting to grow mold on it. I may have wiped out a budding mold civilization but with several windex wipes I was finally able to clean the keyboard.

Just FYI, it's a LOT easier to use a 1" paintbrush sprayed with vinyl cleaner. No sense buying a whole new keyboard, when you can clean the old one like new within 5 minutes.

I think it's a lot easier to just reach over and grab a new keyboard. Take what, a whole 10 seconds?

I use all these keyboards I have laying around ( :roll: ) for replacing keyboards that are actually broken.
