Kid had no way to actually shoot anyone, but the threat completely disrupted school activity and now he's in line for a lifetime of counselling.

It will take several years straight of no school shootings before people even consider ditching the paranoia. I also find it interesting they called it a terrorist threat. Is that how its going to be from now on? Are we gonna send the army in for these terrorist threats?

He should be given medical treatment until he's feeling better. Then he should be shot in front of his family.
