Most imaging satellites are not in geosynchronous orbit, so you're not going to see any realtime images of one location the way they show it in the movies.
 
A long time ago my sister knew of a website that could output images from a satellite in real time (well it would update about every 10 secs). She lost the link and never told me of the site because it was like one of those "keep away" type things. Since she's lost the link, we/I scold her to this day because all we've got left now is crappy google earth. SIGHS
