Did you win it in that thing where you signed up online? And the first 100 people each day would get it? I did:D

Serious flight simmers go for HOTAS. Hands on throttle and stick. Check out the Saitek ones where you get a joy stick for the right hand and a throttle stick for the left hand. Those run about $60-80.

But if you're a casual simmer or just checking things out, the $15 CompUSA ones will do fine.

Any other suggestions/recommendations for flight stick/joystick/yoke for use with Flight Simulator 2002?

Thank you!

I thought it was fun

Holy crap! $100 for the MS Sidewinder 2 joystick!! I hope ebay has some up for bid.

Does anyone use a yoke with their flight sim?

Thanks

since it's a commercial plane flight sim and not a combat sim... i think a flight yoke would be the better more realistic choice. but if you wanna use the controller for other games too, then a flight stick would be ok.

(note: I'm a real life private pilot)

I dislike the force feedback... just doesn't feel realistic to me.

Personally, I use the CH products USB flight yoke and pedals. They resemble most small planes, and the big boeings, better than a joystick.
