1 meg of cache doesn't help out as much now. roelof did some graphs for TLC, the multiplier over a standard p3 is about 1.2. since you can get a lot more mhz/$ with a standard p3, using a xeon doesn't make much sense.
 
Guys, Celerons really aren't that bad at SETI. My C433 with CAS2 PC66 RAM and the 3.0 CLI is doing WUs in 9-10 hours. 🙂 That's over 2 WU day.
