well, from reading your post in tech support forum. i surmised that you had a laptop crash on you. UNFORTUNATELY if you didn't GHOST your machine BEFORE the crash, Ghost will do you NO GOOD at all. save your money or time.

find a way to take the data OFF your HD and onto another HD or CD, then use your ORIGINAL restore disks, restore system and then copy data back over.
