With todays powerful graphics cards, I think a remake/update of this game would be a great seller.

Beating the guy to death in the next cell with his own severed arm was truely an original gaming moment back in those days!

Im always surprised at how many people never heard of or played this game.
 
WOW! Someone who's actually played that game. It was great, at the time the graphics couldn't be beat. I remember him saying when he found the arm "A severed arm." Just the nonchalant way he said it was awesome. And then while you were beating the other guy with his arm you would say "I'm trying to help you." all the while beating him. It was great.
I think I might have to go install it and play it for old times sake...
 
A true remake by the same dudes? Origin Systems is no more and there's no chance in hell EA would risk publishing a low-profit game like that (assuming they have rights to the license).
 
I actually played that game the other day. I have an old Pentium 60 box and installed the game on that. I hadn't played that in years. Great Game, I loved when you got to control that big gun and had to shoot all the incoming jets.
