I wish they'd make an AMD chipset version of the Shuttle mini-PC...

That would be cool. The only thing I'd want to do different or in addition to, would be to have more available slots. maybe two PCI slots or an AGP and PCI. You could always use a USB 56K modem or use cable internet. I would like to see that case have 1 more bay for a CD-R drive. You could have that thing in your entertainment center for DVD and CD burning. That would be cool. Oh, and different color case too. Maybe that "electronics" black or that brushed aluminum look. I do like the concept though..... I remember a while back here at AT a bunch of us were trying to come up with a cute compact case like that. Maybe someone from Shuttle was lurking and stole our idea. Hmmm...

That would be sweet if they did. Just imagine: an Nvidia nForce board with an AthlonXP 1900+ sitting in your entertainment center. With a hell of a lot more respectable video card and Dolby Digital sound, it would compliment your entertainment center perfectly. As for your other suggestions, most of them are more wants than needs, and of course, add all those would make it a much larger computer.

Yeah, but any AMD chip in there is going to run pretty darn hot if not properly cooled.

Extra cooling=Extra noise

Extra noise=A very loud entertainment center

A very loud entertainment center=A bad viewing experience

Now, granted Im a total AMD fan, but I think the new Tualitan would work better in that sort of environment. THe .13 micron manufacturing process ensure that you probably wont need anything more than a small heatsink to keep the thing cool, and your box wont be making any noise. Besides, even at 1.2 ghz, the Tuallie is plenty powerful.
