micron owns them now (the memory manufacturer). they've developed a graphics chip with embedded dram, however, they didn't release it because they didn't want to try to keep up in the graphics market - they just wanted to see if they could do it, and apply it.
Micron, who, as aforementioned, own rendition, is planning on producing an integrated chipset called "supergun," so the rendition engineers/technology aren't "gone."
