I wish Rendition was still around

I had a S220 also (actually still have it). They had the best image quality in the industry, but not the best drivers. Sort of reminds me of ATI.

Rendition was a great company while it was around
I have owned and still have a 3d blaster pci with the V1000 chipset and a Stealth 2 with the V2100 chipset.

I remember tweaking the config on my P200 rig to get the blazing speed of 20FPS 640 x 480 in Q2 demo1!! I used to play Half-Life on that card also. BTW, did any of you guys frequent bjorn3d?

micron owns them now (the memory manufacturer). they've developed a graphics chip with embedded dram, however, they didn't release it because they didn't want to try to keep up in the graphics market - they just wanted to see if they could do it, and apply it.

Micron, who, as aforementioned, own rendition, is planning on producing an integrated chipset called "supergun," so the rendition engineers/technology aren't "gone."

I used to check bjorn3d almost everyday. Still drop in on them once in awhile.
I used to play GLQuakeworld and Team Fortress on my Stealth 2 all the time.

I read something recently about micron having edram on a motherboard as a buffer or something. Looked like some pretty neat stuff.
