I wish it'd stop raining for a week in Seattle.

But without the 6-7 months of constant rain, we wouldn't be the evergreen state, now would we? We'd be the slightly-less-damp evergreen state.

At least today had some sun! I hope it snows a lot this year in WA, my friends and me have this yearly tradition of drinking and it's not as fun without the snow.

It doesnt rain that much in Seattle compared to some east coast cities.

I used to live in Richmond and our annual rainfall is almost 10 inches more than Seattle

As a former Vancouver BC resident I can sympathize, but the summer offers enough rewards to make up for it and you don't have to dig your car out after.
As my brother used to say over the phone, "Which part of 'Temperate Rain Forest' did you not understand before moving there?" - never did like him.

It only rained one day while I was in Seattle a few weeks ago, somehow. I was rather disappointed...city didn't live up to the hype :p

Ya, it's the same up here in Vancouver. A Boil Water Advisory has been issued due to all the silt being washed into the Watersheds. It needs to stop already.

Cause I like their strawberry cream frappuchinos... and their coconut cream frappuchino...
I just rarely get them. Like a few times a year.

Don't you think Global Warming would make Seattle rule? :)

edit: didn't know you went off topic... Kansas sucks although Global Warming would help there too, lol.

Heh...it was only a couple of years ago, you folks were complaining about the drought! Be careful what you wish for...you just might get it!

I have a good friend who lives outside shelton...he's flooded out...again...can't get the county, state or Feds to OK having the piece of river on his property dredged...I guess there's a big gravel bar that backs up the river and causes floods above it...

Yeah, apparently I think it was said 18 counties were flooded after last weeks rain.

Sucks for Shelton...
I live in an elevated area, so if water did come pouring down, it wouldn't hit me since I'm living on a hill.
