The rest was an edit, it probably went through between you opening the thread and hitting reply.

perhaps i don't have the fluid intelligence to commit suicide. but i know that everyone else would be better off if i was dead. i can't stand needing abilify to not be retarded.

i don't know why physician assisted suicide isn't allowed. i have the mtdna of a chimpanzee. i hate myself because i don't have the neanderthal superhaplogroup U(K), A, or D.

One thing that I have noticed over the years is that when you post these type of threads, you almost always justify it by citing things you DON'T have. I no it is hard for a ton of people, but learning to be happy with what you DO have, and things you CAN control, can make a huge difference.

You can't control the hand you were dealt, but you can control how well you play that hand itself is what I am getting.

Best of luck A420, hang in there and load up on Vitamin D3 too.

Good advice. The sunshine vitamin is a great mood elevator at just 5000IU daily. You can't get any D3 always being indoors. A good multi-B vitamin is equally important.

Additionally how about supplementing with the amino tyrosine to modulate dopamine and 5-HTP to modulate serotonin? Also find a good source of choline and GABA.

The OP has been falling through the cracks of conventional medicine, so perhaps it's time to try an alternative or integrative approach. As possibly Ben Franklin stated, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome."

I'm......conflicted.

Part of me wants to encourage the OP to GO FOR IT! (because I think he's just a troll)

But part of me also thinks he COULD actually be this mentally defective and needs some serious help. (like being committed to an asylum)

IF this is true, and I'm not convinced it is, seek some professional help.

I don't think the world would be better without the OP...or without any of us, but neither do I think it's better with any of us in it. NONE of us matter in the overall scheme of things.

The last thing A420 needs is more "alternative medicine". You may not have noticed but his mind is like a smoothie machine for information, and neither the source nor quality matters. Phrenology, mitochondrial dna, pharmacology, it's all the same in his mind. What he needs is to step away from all that, all it gives him is scapegoats and bogeymen.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; op needs to be institutionalized assuming he isn't just a troll.

No advice from anyone here is going to provide any significant benefit, I would say. He has such a significantly distorted view of reality that you can't apply normal thought here.

Integrative medicine is an approach which takes the very best from both the conventional and alternative. I suggest finding an integrative/alternative practitioner who can do bloodwork and make recommendations toward ameliorating any deficiencies: dopa, serotonin, GABA and choline are the most important excitatory and inhibitory neurotransmitters in the brain.

In the meantime, I'd even suggest learning transcendental meditation as a basic coping mechanism or skill.

Lose yourself in music, you'll feel better.

Have you never been mellow?
Have you never tried to find a comfort from inside you?
Have you never been happy just to hear your song?
Have you never let someone else be strong?

Soon, you'll find yourself singing...

Song sung blue, weeping like a willow
Song sung blue, sleeping on my pillow
Funny thing,
But you can sing it with a cry in your voice
And before you know it get to feeling good
You simply got no choice

Well that's not so bad, as long as he's not trying to diagnose and medicate himself. I'd be suspicious of such a doctor, but as long as their stuff is driven by science/research and not philosophy, why not?

Something people in this kind of state don't realize is that they're wrong about everything. Being in a state of depression alters your cognition to the extent that you can't view anything objectively. Minor things become all important

Dude. Get a passport and leave the country. I am 100% serious.

Get outside and start exercising.

You really have to slowdown and start assessing your situation; if you enjoy a good health (how many people lie there in hospitals? I suggest you visit one and just move between corridors, some do live in pain all day & night!), if you got some money, if you have a place to stay and sleep, then you should continue your life and be happy about it.

Le me tell you something, life over the earth is definitely more fun than lying dead beneath it!
Remember, we got only one chance in this life, happiness is inside feeling, no matter in what conditions you currently live in.
And last, as being said, please try to go out to a new place you never been before, have a long walks, and try some jogging too; a proven mitigate for depression.

thanks to everyone here for putting up with me; it was a nice 5 years. i will be even more depressed without talking to people here, but i really need to enjoy life more than i do. i hope it is possible. a big problem is the abusive by my parents.

unfortunately, my mom is abusive and unobservant; she and her mother were never fluidly intelligent enough to take care of themselves, so i will always hate myself for being that way too. maybe obama will deport me or has plans to do so. i don't blame if he does as no one likes me

K, bye. We'll see how long that lasts.

I do hope you get better, but the world keeps turning no matter what.

What you're saying has very little to do with Obama, and more to do with you.
What you're saying has very little to do with superhaplogroups, and more to do with you.
What you're saying has very little to do with mtdna, and more to do with you.
What you're saying has very little to do with Lt.Dan, and more to do with you.
What you're saying has very little to do with MountainDew, and more to do with you.

He doesn't like psychiatrists, so maybe he should join the Church of Scientology. :awe:

I'm still undecided as to whether A420 is a troll or has a legitimate problem. I'm leaning towards the latter though. My advice on the first page still stands. If you're having suicidal thoughts, call that number. This really isn't the place to seek help. To paraphrase the great radio host Ron Bennington: don't take advice from some asshole on the internet.
