Hope you're ok this morning Anarchist420.

Did you try 1-800-273-TALK. the National Suicide Prevention Hotline in the United States.

They may be able to help you.

It can take a while to find the right med or combo of meds. It's just a pain going off one and starting another. Something is bound to work though. You just need to hang in there and take it one day at a time. Trust me, I've been there and done that.

I know this sounds cheesy but when I get down I like to watch something that makes me laugh or smile. Funny movies, youtube videos of fails or people getting scared, comedy, etc. always make me smile. I also like listen to a type of music that makes me feel good. You learn little things like that can get you past the "dips" in your mood. I've also learned to laugh at myself. Having a sense of humor is probably one of the reasons I'm still here today.

P.S. I don't know what mtdna is but I'm pretty sure it you can wipe it off your keyboard :sneaky:

I will echo the thought there is no shame in drugs, and they don't even have to be forever. Many people who were extremely depressed in their past and thought of suicide now live without such thoughts or feelings and are very glad they didn't do anything about it.

Pride is many people's downfall, even among and perhaps mostly among the depressed. Put that shit aside and get the help you need.

In reading your extensive message history Anarchist420, :) I believe you view the world as one big lie, while also fearful of reprisals and breaking free from societal expectations. Don't try to live up to these harsh cookie-cutter standards and instead focus on becoming the best you.

What you need is one huge breakthrough to allow acceptance of those restraints and conflicts within yourself and make them work for you. Stop swimming against the the currents and feeling bad for yourself.

Instead use your high intelligence to begin tweaking yourself. I personally believe you have LOTS to offer this world, but haven't yet found the courage or venue. Use the time you have available and the great informational resources provided by the Internet. Perhaps start here and work your way backwards.... bulletproofexecutive.com

Good luck dude.

Something people in this kind of state don't realize is that they're wrong about everything. Being in a state of depression alters your cognition to the extent that you can't view anything objectively. Minor things become all important (see neanderthal haplogroups, incidence of abilify side effects, significance of needing drugs to live normally, presence of 'extreme male brain', etc), and solutions don't address the issues (e.g. suicide).

What you need to do is put a hold on all actions meant to address your state of being that originated within yourself. You're like a calculator that has been mistakenly wired so that the output of two plus two ends up being 7. No matter how many times you put the numbers in the answer will be wrong because the equipment is faulty. That calculator cannot be relied upon to do any meaningful work because real solutions require accurate answers. Any idea that you came up with is wrong because things aren't adding up correctly in your head. This is why listening to your doctor is important. They have a calculator that works and can be used to check your answers.

I have one called "The Wrongulator" that is wired to always give the answer minus two.

This guy is always coming here to bitch about how his life is hopeless because of whichever made-up pseudo-scientific bogeyman of the week. He is an attention whore. Forgive us for not being sympathetic.
