What are you, broke? Buy another TV and split the signal into it. A 5" B/W TV is $20-30,l a nice 20" is $90, much less if used...

Where the heck do you buy your TVs? I paid $120 for my GENERIC 19" TV. The 20" panasonic I bought my sister for christmas was about $170 before tax at BB.

When I first saw this, I thought of that one episode of Andy Richter where he buys two more TVs for his bedroom so he can watch TV on his left side, back, and right side.

What really helps out in my decision are the $200 in gift cards sitting on my desk. I was planning only spending $500 or so, but I got quite a few gift cards for Christmas.

Don't have to worry about that. That exact reason is why I've got wireless in the apartment and two laptops. One for me and one for the girlfriend to use. Of course I also have the several computers in my home office.

RossMAN, I personally like the WinTV cards. They're good about updating drivers and software.

I scored a WinTV (I think its a WinTV FM, it has the radio tuner and stereo sound) OEM for $55 shipped several years back from ebay. It gave me a ton of problems with my last video card (sometimes itd work, other times it would just crash my computer and give me a BSOD upon starting up the program), so I mostly stopped using it. It works fine with my new video card now, so maybe the bug is out of it's arse.

There are cheaper TV tuners than WinTV though. WinTV's been doing it forever, and I like their products.

Leadtek Winfast 2000xp, great card I'm using right now. $60 at newegg atm.
