I was just opening a can of soda right now, and instead of the lid opening, the popper (the small piece of metal that pushes the lid down) fell right off.

Now how the heck am I supposed to open it?

Since it created a small gap before breaking, I managed to get a knife into the hole and pryed the rest of the top off. I should sue Pepsi for wasting my time and causing emotional distress

That happend to me too with a 7UP can. Trust me, don't use a Phillips Screw Driver, you'll just have a hole in the top of the can. It's actually pretty hard to get a drink from too.
