I am so damn tired of people telling me i need to eat. People that know me know that I am human garbage disposal. So i tell them i used to fat when i was kid, so i stopped eating to look like a do. That helps, but is it just that fat people are jealous of skinny people. I mean i never here skinny people calling me skinny always fat people. DISCUSS please.

I have a brother who is 6'4'' and 135 lbs. Unfortunately, it is pure genetics. He can eat huge amounts of food and not put on weight. He, obviously, is stick thin and very sensitive to being called Skinny, Twiggy, you name it! He could put on weight of course, if he ate enough, but for him that would be a huge amount and while he works hard at it, he will most likely always be a thin person. My father is the same way as is his family. I too am lucky and can eat a lot and easily get away with it!

When people are anorexic, one can tell as there are certain physical things that are a dead giveaway. Therefore, I know a naturally thin person from an anorexic or eating disorder person and my heart actually goes out to both....

Usually when someone tells you to eat, it means they think you're *too* skinny. They're concerned that you're not getting enough.

Yes, and that's my brother! Although people that know him, don't say that as they know how hard he works at trying to put on weight! :)

One of my brothers and I are the same way. I've put on weight, and am still working on it. Genetics are to blame.

Like my grandfather always said in regards to having a pot belly:
"A man always builds a shed over his most important tool." :D

I'm the same way as well, I typically eat quite a lot throughout the day yet I am very lean. My brother is the same way and of course this is caused by genetics. However, ever since I starting going out with a girl whose parent's own a Chinese restaurant, I have been slowly and steadily putting on the pounds

Haha.

My brother is 6'3 150, I am 6'5 260 - we used to look just alike.

Now I'm fat and he's skinny. :)

Someone's playin tricks on us.

Yeah, I'm the same way. Even if I eat a ton, I won't gain any weight. I hate it when people tell me "You need to eat more, you're too skinny." I am like, "WTF. What a brilliant insight you have." If I could gain weight I would, but I have been trying all of my life and nothing thus far.

Be glad you aren't fat. I worked off 30 lbs over a year (down to 160, I'm 6'1" and 20 yrs old) and I put back on 10 in the last 2 months. I need to run more often!

The Rib Master, don't mind what people say to you. I was a little chubby kid with baby fat when I was a very little. But as I grew older, I grew more and more thinner. If you see my pics of childhood, you won't believe it. I was extremely thin. I am still thin at the moment. In real life, people don't tease me. Instead, they tell me and my siblings how they admire us and wish they could have that kind of body too. My brother once teased me when he held my wrist as it was so tiny as if it would break. When we were little, we used to get the tease, but now that we're grown up, we get the stare and questions such as whether we're twins (which we aren't).

So, never be afraid or shy about being skinny. Yes, for a guy, he shouldn't be excessively skinny, but he should not be plump either. Wear muscle instead.

Wow, Mrs. Skoorb! Are you sure that your brother is 6' 4" and 135 Lbs? I'm 6' 1" and same weight. I would be very scared if that were the case. I hope he is healthy and has no diabetes that wouldn't let him gain weight.

Bleh, you all suck... ;) I'm a mesmo-endomorph, meaning I have a fairly easy time gaining muscle, but getting fat is easier than saying your ABCs. :disgust: Still, I wouldn't trade this body for a skinny one, because I don't think I could live without being able to bulk up like many "thin" guys cannot.

Mostly jealousy ;) They have to work freakin hard to be skinny and you have to do jack sh*t. I have to eat well or else i put on the pounds quite quickly. I'm a big guy in the first place though (hell when i was born i was over 2ft long and 11 pounds)...big body frame and lots of muscle, but I have some fat there too. I'd rather be in my current state then a twig thin guy though...

How you look to other people is all about your confidence and how you present yourself anyway...weight/actual appearance doesn't play as huge of a role as some think.

one of my brothers looks like a sinewy skeleton, but he is "wiry" rather than emaciated. Sort of like Bruce Lee. Women can't seem to get enough of him -- he is literally stalked by a few :Q

He was tested a million times as a child for anything and everything. He is in perfect health! :) Remember...he is male...no breasts! :p

A close friend of mine was almost that exact same size 6'2.5/134 for years --and then in his MID TWENTIES filled out and became uber-buff and very studly. That was weird, but it happened the same way for his two older brothers.
