It's for a Orange Micro USB2.0 Cardbus I need the driver for XP
I have it working but it is running at only USB1.0 speed. I reinstalled and I lost the driver. And the company is out of business so I can't contact them.

My device manager settings

EDIT

We fiqured out it's not the driver because.
I am getting 3mb/s so it's 2.0 it's just not at its full potential

you running sp2?
Basic trouble shooting tips for USB 2.0 cardbus installation.
a) Listing under "Device Manager" was different from manual.
- Universal Serial Bus Controllers
- Intel(r) 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller
- NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller
- NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller
- USB Root Hub
- USB Root Hub
- USB Root Hub
- Universal Serial Bus Controllers
- NEC PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller
- USB 2.0 Root Hub Device

Is it correct? Yes, the new orange micro driver is like this. They have split the USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 driver into two parts.

b) After removing our cardbus, the listing under "Device Manager" was back to original.
- Universal Serial Bus Controllers
- Intel(r) 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller
- USB Root Hub

Is it normal? Yes, the entire NEC driver should be gone!

c) Error occurred while reinserting our cardbus, the listing had a "!".
- Universal Serial Bus Controllers

- NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller
- NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller
- USB Root Hub
- USB Root Hub
- USB Root Hub
- Universal Serial Bus Controllers
! NEC PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller

It did not show "USB 2.0 Root Hub Device". What happened to USB2.0 capability? If you have an exclamation mark next to the NEC PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller, the driver is not working so the cardbus can run on USB 1.1 mode only.

haha it says nothing about fixing it back to 2.0

google search shows that O-M went out of business

maybe sp1 has bad drivers? try this link

Well I installed that but nothing changed. I have 2 external HD's and a new NEC 16x DVD burner and when I use nero speed test, it's showing only 6x on average throughout the test. So it must be USB1.1 Plus it took me 15 minutes to burn a DVD using 8X media and I had Nero set to maximum speed. So that also tells me I'm only at 1.1 USB

Not yet you haven't read my pm.

Ok I looked on toshibas website and the only chipset drivers I can download are almost 5 years old. So that won't help me.

Ok here's a question for you guys. If I can transfer a 90MB file from one external HD to another external HD in under 30 seconds is that USB2.0 speeds?

3MB/sec, so yes it's USB 2.0, but definitely not as fast as it can go.

 Standard cardbus is supported by XP automatically. I'm suprised this isn't automatically installed when you plug it in.
