you know those little o-rings that go on the bottom of refillable butane lighters? so gas doesn't spray everywhere when you fill them?

well, i have a bunch of gas-operated airsoft stuff, and it's all missing the o-rings, and no one at the damn airsoft store can tell me where to find them. they look identical to the ones on butane lighters, but i can't find the damn things anywhere. i'm close to just going to the store and buying a pack of refillable lighters just for the o-rings.

p.s. money means like five bucks, or if you're close i can come over and give you a handie. ;P

Check auto parts stores (advance/az) or hardware (lowes/HD)

Auto store may work best as they have them for AC systems, brake, etc... so different size and thickness.

I agree with Mc-Master, but if you want to pick them up local, check out an Ace Hardware. They carry a lot of small things that Home Depot and Lowes do not.

You should be able to buy o-rings at hydraulic supply stores in your area. Usually located in the "industrial" part of town, most of them will either have them on hand, or will have the necessary materials to make them on the spot. It will help greatly if you have a sample for them to match to however.

that at least gives me some leads. i'll try the hardware stores (lowes, ace) first, probably.

what sucks is i have a drawer of A/C o-rings at work, and i ALMOST have some that work. but they're just slightly big.

i'm not sure if we have a paintball store. is there something in paintball that gets loaded with a butane-like container? i thought they were all compressed air.

What the fuck is google for!

you'd think 'butane lighter o-ring' would fucking find something, but it doesn't, neither does, like, 'airsoft gas nozzle o-ring' or something. so i asked ATOT. on rare occasions they are helpful.

Find more by searching for less.

You'll never find an o-ring with that description. They are interchangeable hardware like screws and washers, have sizes and gauges and compositions, and accordingly the sellers use those descriptions to identify them.

I need a Chevrolet screw...

Whenever I can't find something like this I go to a ace hardware and it almost never fails, they have what I want.

Sonic has really really good o-rings .. a little heavy on the batter vs O.. but they seem to be carnival style
