Aww, Shorty had some pics posted, and didn't get his picture drawn. Somebody owes Shorty a pic.

I didn't mean for this entire thread to get side-jacked about my hoarding impulses. (But I gotta admit, it's hard to shoe-horn a whole CompUSA store's worth of obsolete merchandise intp a small 1-bdr apt.)

I'm gonna rent a backhoe to help with Virtual Larry's apartment situation.

Anyone else want to chip in?
I missed it and am to lazy to click back but I'm in. Are we going to dig him a tech cellar so he can keep all his stuff in it?

Yeah, that's kind of a constant struggle. I have mental illness too, and I'm "morbidly obese", which makes effort more difficult. I have a "worker", but because of COVID restrictions, he can't actually help me in my apt. yet. Basically, he just gives me a pep talk every week. Well, at least it's human contact.

Edit: I actually suffer from probably the same thing that Cheeze does, more-or-less. Only have a a little more good sense, or less "religousity", and I took the apt., and get money every month (disability). Plus, more recently, stacking those Sats!. Helps a bit with groceries, etc.

Well you're still ahead of Cheez, at least you acknowledge you have mental illness (which is nothing to be ashamed of, it's not any different than physical illness). Just try to not let it get to an unhealthy level and remember we're always here if you need someone to talk to.
