Well, I was actually about to risk getting in trouble at work by driving 40 minutes to pick up a Wii i spotted on ebay for $375 in Chicago. Was going to be a straight up exchange, the guy had several units so we were going to bypass ebay.

I had just put my coat on and was walking out to my car when i got a call from my buddy, letting me know that I owed him 300 bucks. Woot! I guess Gamestop got some units in today (was supposed to be tomorrow) and he managed to pick up the last one for me!

So not only did I spend less money, I also got to keep my job! Yay! 😀

Funny because i had mentioned in an earlier thread how Walmart told me on the phone today they were getting none until Feb... Filthy Walmart lies.

I wouldnt really have lost my job 😛 In fact, my absence likely wouldnt have been noticed since its so dead here. Still, nice that I dont have to risk an earful from my manager.

The gestures work perfectly....by far some of the best controls on the Wii IMO. And once you get used to it, calling audibles on offense and defense and switching up your lines players etc becomes as easy as pie. Great great game.
