I went to the dentist

Haven't been to the dentist in years, but I figured why not since I saw a coupon in the mail.

$65 bucks for cleaning/bottom x-ray/exam
She found two cavities , for a total of $200. Have an appointment on the 28th to get the fillings.

Should I be concerned about getting my cavities taken care of at this place? My co-workers were surprised it was so cheap and they were like "you get what you pay for"
This dentist did graduate from Boston University which I think is a great dental school. Seriously how bad could it be? A filling is a filling, right?

Also I found it weird that when they asked me if I wanted to rinse that there was no rinsing station next to me.. I think they wanted me to get up and go to the bathroom. I just didn't rinse...

Wait, you're in VA? PM me the name of the dentist. Were they right off of Rt 50 in a small office complex next to the big Target center near 7 corners?

Otherwise, we both go to different sketchy dentists that graduated from BU.

Must be. I went to mine for an emergency, big filling fell out. Ended up going back to get the rest of the work done that I needed, including two crowns, because I ended up comfortable w/ them. Sketchy and in an old office for sure, but I'm very happy with the work.

BU is definitely a good dental school, by the way. No worries on that.

I have to go back for a couple more fillings. I've been waiting since I wanted to make sure these crowns were good, and a few months later I can't even tell they're there.
