Last year, one kid at my college was arrested for posession/distribution of kiddie porn :( He got busted along with a fvckload of other people in the boston area.

In 8th grade, we had a teacher who brought a shit ton of drugs to school, she opened up her desk drawer, pipes, needles, the jane, and whatever else fell out. She got arrested, i haven't heard about her sense.

Walked into the law school building for class one day, and was almost run over by a buncha feds that raided our Dean's office and busted him for receiving (mail) kiddie pr0n. They confiscated his work PC cause he had a HD full of it, and he had tons of it in emails too.

This was years ago, but it was pretty surreal.

In HS, I worked at a pizza parlor briefly with a kid from my neighborhood/HS that was arrested and convicted for raping an 11 year old. (he was a juvi at the time). I actually talked to him about it while we were playing some Tecmo Bowl at the pizza place. He wasn't at all like I expected. He sounded detached from it, like he couldn't believe he had done it, but he obviously had issues. He was very sincere about getting help, and working through his treatment programs, and such. He very much wanted to be a regular guy, but knew he probably never would be. I expected him to be angry or bitter or just in denial. Not at all.

It's more common than you think. I guess I had a couple of buddies in Jr. High that I saw on the sex offender list, but the charges were statatory rape, etc... I think they were basically 20-22 year olds dating high school girls. Not too much of a stretch, but I would be mad if I was the father of the girls.


I also had a male teacher in high school that got arrested for having relations with a student. He was a great guy. We used to go hiking with a few of the other students and everything. I'm surprised that he would do something that stupid and not think it through.

I worked with a guy who has been convicted on child pornography charges. Something like 80GB of it on his computer, if memory serves correctly. Weird. He seemed like a decent guy, and was a good, competent worker. I think his main defense was that he didn't put it there, or so he said. I'm not sure if his PC was networked directly to any others. But I don't know how you couldn't notice that you've suddenly got 80GB of stuff that you're not supposed to have.

I went to school with a guy for 3 years, and was pretty close friends with him. He was really really bright, very nice, married, with a kid on the way, just started his PhD with full ride... turns out he got arrested shortly after I graduated for trying to get with a police officer posing as 14 years old girl.
I mean I hangout with this guy just about everyday on campus ... the only thing he had against him was the fact that he was a recovered alcoholic, and been arrested before.
He eventually sent an email apology and stating that he was manic compulsive or something like that.

i had just moved to a new school when i was a sophomore in HS this guy colloquially known as 'the booty bandit' (before arrest) & his little buddy were arrested for sodomy by instrumentation on a child.
I cant remember the guys' name to look him up.
Other than that, I only know of a guy in prison for various DUI / drug / theft charges.
I'm sure there are more.
