yep that was like 2-3 weeks ago. Killj just fucking raped that pig.

vlad aka drakula was pretty smart though. Used the impalements to scare his enemies.

I cant wait to watch Navy Seal vs Israeli Commando though :D

Impalement is fun for the whole family (atleast vlad probably thought so)! Best part about impalement is depending on how it's done people could live for days (I didn't see that episode so I don't know if they talked about it).

eh he hehe

nah i dont think they'd live long by vlad's impalement.

it went from your groin all the way through your collar bone, out of your shoulder.

I dont think one could live long with that through them lol

this vid has the impalement and the kilij both.

Show is really lame. I watched one that was a Roman gladiator VS an Apache warrior. It was unbelievably stupid because a fight between them would depend on the location. In an arena? Apache is lion food. In the American southwest? The gladiator's penis is going to be cut off and stuffed in his mouth. Stupid show is stupid.

It was a fascinating episode.

The Kilij is one hell of a sword: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMLiTpzQgsc&feature=related

The battle was fun, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Io4xuHvxNlQ&feature=related

Vlad must have been psychotic or something. After some research I found he personally killed at least 80,000 enemies. Some put the figure over 100,000. And impaled thousands of them as a horrific warning.

And impalement is a subject I don't even want to discuss.

He might have been psycho, but I think his methods were pretty much the only thing keeping the Ottomans from overrunning Europe.

yea I agree here. The weapon testing stuff etc is pretty cool but the end battles "simulations" are retarded. Apache vs Gladiator = Apache shooting the Gladiator in his unarmored chest with an arrow from cover/range before the Gladiator knows what's happening.

frankly I thought that was kind of dumb. Sun Tzu might not even be a real person, although I personally am fairly confident he did exist.

However, his arsenal I think was sort of flawed. the crossbow he used was something that would be developed by later Chinese armies, while his sword play was pretty weak.

The swords of the Chinese that were reserved for the aristocracy were some of the finest swords produced both in the bronze, iron, and even steel ages. The Sword of Gou Jian is a good example

Read the Art of War and, you'll see why that episode was total BS.

It was a 1 vs 1 so I totally agree with the outcome, but they should of done a small army vs small army which I believe Sun Tzu would of won.

Musketeer vs Ming Dynasty Warrior was a good episode too.

I think that show is pretty much complete bullshit. They plug some arbitrary numbers into an excel spreadsheet and decide who is better.

It is interesting to see the effectiveness of the weapons but the rest of the show (including the conclusion) is stupid.

The show's creators/writers have responded to that point numerous times. Especially after the Spartan vs Ninja episode backlash where numerous fans were complaining that the ninja would never have a problem sneaking up/killing a Spartan. The creators responded by saying that the show is deadliest WARRIOR not deadliest ASSASSIN/SNIPER/etc. The battles are set up in an arena, that's just a fact, and that's the pretense under which the simulations are done. Would an apache/ninja/etc probably win in a heavily wooded area where stealth is a viable solution? Absolutely, but the show is about 1v1 in an arena. Simple.

I'd take Vlad

I just don't think a shi tzu can defeat a human. I had one and it was a pretty weak little dog. Cute though.
