The food was fairly good, but the main reason I started this thread was we were sitting next to this fairly obese woman. 🙁 I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. She wasn't overly eating (she had a Taco Salad), and she was eating it quite slowly. What was sad was that she was eating by herself in total silence like she was used to eating alone, and I couldn't help but think it was because she was obese. :brokenheart:

I realize that it is very hard to lose weight once you have gained a large amount of weight. It takes a lot of will power to do. But it sucks when you don't have any friends and your only solace is eating. 🙁 I felt really sorry for the woman.

Maybe thinking about this was a bit EMO, but it made me lose my appetite. Of course I didn't say anything, but man, it must suck to be alone and incredibly obese as well. Of course, I have no sympathy for people who make excuses for their problems, but in this one instance I wanted to get up and give the lady a hug (I didn't because that would have been totally awkward). If she had been stuffing her face, I might have viewed the image differently.

Maybe she has someone, just because she is eating alone doesn't mean she is truly alone. When I'm on business trips I go out to eat by myself most of the time. Don't bend yourself out shape about something you aren't 100% about.

Yeah, I know. 🙁 She just seemed to look really depressed. Plus, it also looked like she was used to eating by herself.

I eat by myself as well, but rarely do I look depressed while doing it. I actually will give a big sheepish smile when my food comes out, it sometimes makes the waiters or waitresses laugh.
