and they were doing the show where ppl can cal up and request songs for their loved ones and stuff. so anyway, the dj goes on to say something along these lines, "if you'd like to request a song for that someone special, please call use at xxx-xxx-xxxx, or simply email us at xxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com". i found it sorta funny they used a hotmail account. i wonder how many spams they get? their mailbox must be full like every two hours :p

hotmail address arnt any different from regular emails when it comes to spams. you start getting junks only when you register online services with bad privacy policy and pass around your accounts to different places.

My ISP doesn't sell my email address to third parties, nor do they change policies without notice so they can sign you up for the 'I want to be put on spam lists and send me porn info' stuff.

I receive about 50+ spam mails on my Hotmail account, while I turned off all the 'put me on lists/show my email address' options immediately, and I get about 1 spam mail/week on my regular account thanks to my clanleader putting the wrong email address on clanbase :(

i'm fairly certain hotmail pimps my email address. i have signed up for new hotmail accounts... made sure i opted out of all mailing lists... then ever before i got a chance to give out my emails addres... i am already spammed. hotmail used to be pretty good. but these days... its quite a different scenerio.
