I was just searching Howard forums.. seems like Nextel users are mad about the Sprint merger

I'm happy.

Means Nextel will have a wider and more thorough network.

Also means that eventually it will be a Sprint "two way" phone.

Both networks are going to be concurrently operated... I hope that they expand onto each other's towers, though... that just makes sense. :cool:

I'm very pleased by it for several reasons... largest reason to me right now is the fact that they added Fair & Flexible to the plans, so now my plan will cost a lot less. ;)

Yeah, Coca Cola realized that they can't compete with Pepsi much longer so they bought Nextel to try to branch out into another market.

I still think it's odd that they decided to buy out a company that uses a different technology.

Wouldn't US Cellular or Alltel make more sense to aquire?
