Sorry OP, it's your fault:
- First and foremost, the other vehicle had control of the aisle in the proper flow of traffic
- You were backing out of a parked spot onto the flow of traffic, which put you at a greater duty to yield
- Point of impact indicates that you hit the other vehicle
- If you hit him on the rear bumper, that means you had plenty of time to give proper lookout before the loss happened, giving you the last clear chance to avoid the loss
Change the point of view around - if the SUV was blocking your point of view, it was also blocking his point of view as well - in this case, what would you say that he did something wrong?
