I was going to buy this camera of CL.. its a Rebel XS.. but something is funny

Its a Rebel XS bought Jan 2011 according to him. I need the body nothing more. It will be a backup of a backup. He is asking 250 for it.

Anyway he said the bottom sticker came off due to use of his tripod. He sent pictures and that story checks out. But is this even possible, i am worried it might be stolen. He does have the sticker on him.

I just need it as a backup, if it works it works..

okay good to know ... I use a quick release plate so i dont have that problem. I'll wait for him.

well that guy didnt respond but another guy closer to me had the same camera so I bought it for 250.. not bad eh?

Retail kit on amazon is like 470 or so. On CL used ones are going for 350 or so. This guy's 18-55 lens was broken and i didnt need it anycase, so 250 for just a body is not bad. Body's are going for 350 on the web.

You could sell the lens on Ebay for $100.
