And now i think i've pushed some wax down my ear hole, and now i cant hear properly out of my ear!! how do i fix this?!
 
Buy an ear-cleaning kit at the drugstore and follow the instrucitons.

If that fails, go to a doctor, who will do the same thing and then reach in with a spoon if that fails.

i hate that.

go buy a ear wax removal kit thinger or go to the doctor. i'm sure it will work its way out over time too.
 
Wow, the thread quality is off the scale tonight!

Get your ear syringed, although they'll probably tell you to soften it up for a few days before you go, with that stuff you buy at the chemists.

get ear wax disolving drops from the drug store, follow the directions

also you'll want a ear wash bulb and some hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol to help bust it out after the ear drops loosen it up

you may not believe how much ear wax can build up over the years if you have never seen it

it is hideous

QFT. If you go to the pharmacy and get some earwax remover with one of those rubber bulbs, you can soften it and remove it with very warm water. You just have to blast it about 15-20 times to get most of it out.

I ended up having the same problem 2 years ago because one of my ears makes about 10 times more wax than the other. I went to the doctor and that's all they did....only they used such force with the warm water blasting it out that it caused my throat to burn. (all those nerves are connected, I guess)

Pay $8 and get the stuff....it will take care of it.

Hydrogen Peroxide into the ear canal. Try this a few times.

If that doesnt work, there is ear wax kit you can get at a pharamcy that comes with a flushing bulb (basically, a balloon type deal that fills with warm water and you squirt it into your ear canal to try and bust some of the wax out).

Being a seasoned veteran at this sort of thing, I personally got a siringe from a hospital, like a big fat siringe. (sterilized of course). Then took off the needle, fill that thing with warm water and squirt it into my hear.

Yes, it is uncomfortable, maybe even a little painful, but, if you want to start hearing again, be sure to use the warm water and put some pressure into squirting it into your ear. The wax is not gonna come out just by lightly squirting it into your ear canal. Give it a good squeeze (I always do it about as hard / fast as I can).

happened to me last year.. for some reason, one side of my ear was producing too much wax.. I think I had a cold or something... doctor did the same thing. before going to the doctor, I tried the earwax remover from walgreens. It worked, but not very good. The doctor sprayed using a metalic looking squirt gun.... that worked extremely well 🙂

I'm not sure thats a gd idea!

Is there any other alternatives than the chemists? its 10 oclock here and i dnt wanna be stuck with this till tomorrow!

Olive oil.
When I had my ears blocked up, the doctor told me olive oil was just as good as anything at the chemists. Then I went back and he sucked the loose/soft wax out with a sucky thing which they use (no more syringes, the mini vacuum type thing is apparently better).

Just put some drops of olive oil in your ear to soften the wax. It won't clear it, but it'll soften it, then you can go to the doctor and get him to do his thing.

Yea thats what i just did, except i don't have a syringe or anything in the house, i'll just have a bath and make sure i get the water well into my ear...

Can't i damage my ear / ear drum by squirting water that fast into it!!

Just leave it if you can get it resolved tomorrow. It's annoying but you'll get kind of used to it after a while. I've had to put up with it for a week or so on a number of occasions.

DON'T stick any other objects in your ear, you'll risk making things worse.
