I was attacked by a rabid bullfrog today...

Normally, bullfrogs are flightly little buggers and leap back into the water when you get near them. Not this one. I was golfing today, hit a little long and put the ball right on the edge of the lake...right next to the pyscho rabid bullfrog. The dirty bastard must have thought it was a giant egg or something because when I got close to the edge of the lake he scuttled closer to the ball. As I stuck my club out to retrieve the ball the damn thing lunged out and chomped down on the end of my club.

WTF? So here I am trying to not fall into the edge of pond, cussing like mad shaking my club with a 3 pound bullfrog hanging off the end of it. He must have decided that it wasn't worth it and finally let go and I retrieved my ball and got the fudge out of there.

Crazy stuff I tell ya.

😕

Sumbitch was huge too! He was just a bit smaller than a footprint of a VHS tape.

Should go back and get me some frog legs to fry up 🙂

Sorry but I HAVE to ad the obvious.

A frog can NOT carry rabies.

But I'm sure you allready knew that.

Tru-dat. Reptiles are physically and chemically incapable of carrying the rabies virus. I know; I have three constrictors as pets and have been bitten more times than I care ot remember. "Rabies" is a warm-blooded, vermin-carried, disease. Ala, rats, bats, dogs, cats, etc.

Did you know that Opossums are incapable of carrying rabies as well?

(or at least is VERY VERY VERY rare.)
