I was able to update another user's message

Well, not quite. But what I did was try to reply to a thread I started here and I ended up with an update message screen for Nox's message. Not wanting to update his message I cancelled and tried to repeat the problem but I got the proper reply box. Strange stuff but you might want to look into it Zuni.

By the way, Nox's message was the last in the thread at the time.

You won't actually be able to update another users post (unless you have their password!). You'll just get a refused message.

Yeah thats just your misunderstanding there.. edit is locked down you can't actually edit. This is how tonnes of other forums work, and we had to do it that way to allow people to login and post at the same time.
